Maintenance Instructions for Hair Extensions
-
Always tie hair up before going
to bed.
-
Do not tie hair too tightly or
add to much pressure to hair
-
Always brush hair out end first
then from the bond down using a natural bristle
brush.
-
Never put conditioner, treatments
or any hot heat directly on to glue
-
Do not apply too much heat to
your head use blow dryer on medium or cool
setting.
-
Do not put any oils or serums
directly onto the bonds as this will loosen
them.
-
Every week set aside 10 minutes
to separate the extensions one by one, Failure
to do this will cause matting.
-
Ensure hair is completely clean
and freshly washed (not conditioned) prior to
extensions application.
-
Do not leave your hair extensions
in for longer than the recommended time which is
3-4 months.
-
Hair extensions must be washed
conditioned and moisturised regularly.
Moisturising hair extensions is critical since
this hair does not receive natural scalp oils.
-
Please wait 48 hours before
washing your hair after hair extension
application.
-
Use the Shampoo and conditioner
as advised to you by your Extensionist
-
Constant styling and heating will
shorten the length of time your extensions will
last for.
Everybody's hair is different, some people's hair
will last the FULL 3/4 months and more without any
hair or hair extensions sliding out, unfortunately
this is not the case for everyone! This depends on
your NATURAL hair type. Please expect some hair to
come away during or after the 3 month period the
same as your natural hair would. |
